the honorary swedish citizen |
my name is jenah. i love: food, my kids, cooking, reading, writing. i am: a student of jesus, mom, wife to a pastor, humanitarian. |
I was supposed to head to the cities today because I needed to collect the kiddos after our long week apart. But, our super rad friends David and Priscilla agreed to bring them down for us. (They are coming for the Easter weekend.) It is making this Saturday, that was supposed to be harried and packed to the gills with running, very relaxed. I even made gluten-free chex mix and a gluten free macaroon dessert that was not going to make itself if I was in the cities. So, huge shout out to Mr. and Mrs. Maudlin.
Updated list:
-Roast 2 lbs of garlic
-Turn 10 lbs of potatoes into Garlic Mashed Potatoes to freeze
-Pull out some clothes for Vienne in the next size bracket (growing like a baby dandylion)
-Finish my bio and first two blog entries for clutchtalk.blogspot.com, a blog for pastor’s wives. Whoo hoo! Does that make me an “offical” writer?
-Finish editing photos for my friend Megan’s family. (I had the privilege to take photos for them last weekend.)
-Chill out and enjoy having only one kid for the week….
-Get a large bag of clothes to donate to Volunteer Services
-Plan our 2nd annual Hensel Easter Grill Out
-Do my two week grocery list
-Easter basket preparedness (have the candy/eggs/baskets ready to rock)
And a few extras:
-Make macaroons
-Make chex mix
-Change the sheets on the kid’s beds
-More chilling out
Happy Easter! He is risen!
